Puppy is a purebred registered Miniature/Toy Australian Shepherd being sold as a pet with full/limited breeding rights, male/female.
Payment can be made with Cash, Paypal(Friends or Family option), or check(check require 10 days to clear before puppy leaves my possession).
-Should a deposit be paid, and the puppy it was paid for becomes unsellable, that deposit shall be applied to any other available puppy that the depositor chooses, provide that the puppy is not spoken for.
-Buyer is responsible for paying all shipping costs, including appropriate sized crate required for air shipment. Breeder to furnish vet certificate if puppy will be shipped air.
-Breeder guarantees that the puppy is healthy (as been checked by a licensed veterinarian by 8 wks of age) and has had appropriate vaccination(s) and worming required for its age at the time of this agreement according to breeders vet. Breeder does not guarantee against common parasite issues that are very common in young dogs and easily picked up by puppies in common dog areas(ie. coccidiosis, worms, giardia...).
-Our breeding dogs are xrayed and evaluated before breeding and Penn HIP or OFA hip/elbow(at 2 yrs old) and CERF eye tested yearly. We also test for MDR1, HC and PRA-prcd. By doing this, we hope to avoid any medical problems with the puppies our dogs produce. If, however, within the first 30 days from date of pickup, your puppy develops any genetic eye defects, hip dysplasia, or any genetic defect which would prevent it from enjoying a reasonable life as a pet, we will replace the puppy with a comparable puppy from our next available litter after written proof from a licensed veterinarian. At no time will money be refunded. The breeder will not be responsible for shipping or any vet expenses at any time. If you find, within the first 30 days from date of pickup, that your puppy has a genetic defect that was not disclosed at the time of purchase and you wish to keep the puppy, you may do so with the understanding that all costs incurred will be the responsibility of the buyer. Any claim of a defect must be of accompanied with written *proof* from a licensed veterinarian/ canine opthalmalogist within 48 hours of testing, and is subject to a 2nd opinion by a licensed vet of breeders choice. Breeder will take any pup back into her care at any time if families can not or do not want to provide proper treatment.
The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of purchase. Failure to do so will make this contract null and void. By signing this the buyer agrees that the dog will live with the buyer, be confined in a secure environment, will have adequate exercise, nutritious food and necessary health care by a licensed veterinarian, including all age necessary vaccinations including rabies. Failing to do so will make this null and void. Breeder makes no guarantee regarding loss of dog due to accidental death, theft, sickness, lost pet, etc, or all other loss that is out of the breeders control.
-The dog is being sold as Pet quality which is defined as a puppy that is not guaranteed showable in a conformation class. The dog is being sold for the purpose of being a family companion animal and while it may be capable of performing other functions, no warranty is given as to its fitness for any special event or purpose. If puppy is sold on limited registration, puppy must be spayed/neutered by 9 months of age. Any breeding(registered or not) with a limited registration puppy will be a breech of contract and will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law with a fine of 7500.00. (Any matters of litigation will be held in Venango County, Pa). This contract is non-transferable.
-Proper nutrition is very important to the heath and life of your new puppy. Breeder recommends feeding NuVet and strongly feel that this is the best immune booster on the market. Owners keeping their pups on the NuVet Plus will have an extended warranty until the dog reaches 1 year of age. The dam and litter are given NuVet Plus as an immune builder along with a high quality dog feed to give your pup the best possible start. As the dams passive immunity wears off on pups, they become very susceptible to picking up viruses and disease. Feeding the NuVet helps cover that gap. We try our best to give your pup a healthy well balanced start. It is your responsibility to then to keep them healthy.
-Please be advised that you should not engage your puppy in high jumping or strenuous agility exercises until he is over 2 years of age. Puppy bones and joints need time to grow and become strong enough for these activities.
-Never give this puppy Ivermectin products. We MDR1 test all of our breeding dogs. For those not well versed in this area, think of MDR1 like an allergy. Care is as easy as avoiding the allergen and utilizing common alternative medicines.
As a safty measure we never, and request that buyers never, use these products on any Australian Shepherd!
MDR1 testing is a tool that often gives a false sense of security to buyers and vets. Dogs with clear results have had symptoms and even death. Consult a licensed vet before giving any medication to your puppy.
-Puppies must be paid in full by 8 weeks of age. We understand that with the hassles of everyday life that scheduling pick-ups can not be exact. We will hold puppies for an additional week until they are 9 weeks free of charge. After the 9 week date, there will be a 5$/day boarding fee in addition to the price of the puppy, along with the costs of any necessary medical treatment.(Vaccinations/dewormings, etc.)
-This buyer will be given registration application(s) after puppy has been paid in full.
Dogs being sold with Full registration must have 'HarmoneeHill preceding the rest of its registered name. If this puppy is sold on limited registration and is bred, seller reserves the right to take puppy and litter back into sellers custody.
-Breeder cannot guarantee full grown size of your pup, but will make the best estimate possible. Breeder will evaluate the puppies temperament to ensure a good fit with its new family, but can not guarantee temperament once it leaves our care. Breeder highly recommends that this puppy attend a formal puppy training class along with proper socialization. (Clicker, obedience, ABC puppy etc.) Breeder further recommends that puppy be crate trained, and have adequate room to exercise. (Ideally a fenced yard).
-If at any time owner feels that they cannot provide proper care for this puppy, breeder will be notified first. Our home will always be open for surrendered pups to come back into breeders care to find an appropriate home. At no time should this puppy be placed into a shelter or humane society. We only want the best for our puppies.
By purchasing a puppy from breeder, you are agreeing to terms in this contract signed or unsigned.
